These prints are made to hold space for Pride identities to be expressed openly and joyfully, whether on the streets of Berlin during Christopher Street Day 2025, or in everyday life.
The Vision: WordsThat Wear Pride
Pride with Andro Maria began with a simple idea: that words—when chosen with care—can become symbols. This collection features text-based prints in Pride colors, like Pride Unites, Share Your Pride, Wear Your Pride, and Let Your Pride Shine Like a Rainbow. These messages are printed using our custom-designed font, the same one used in our brand logo—because typography is part of our visual activism.

The Process: Winter, Color, and the Promise of Summer
Designing these vibrant prints happened, ironically, in the middle of winter. Outside, the landscape was grey and still. But inside our studio, we were imagining rainbow flags, dancing crowds, and sun-warmed shoulders.
“I remember standing on a frozen beach with our model in a ‘Pride Unites’ dress, a wool hat on her head and a beach ball under her arm,” the designer recalls, laughing.
“It was -6°C, the lake was frozen, but we were dreaming of summer. And honestly—that contrast says everything about Pride. It’s color against the cold.”
The photos from that day became part of our story: a reminder that Pride isn’t seasonal. It’s a stance.
